My all-time favorite roll, hands-down, is none other than the Lion House. These rolls are so soft, slightly sweet, and are just complete perfection! They practically melt in your mouth right out of the oven.

2 T. active-dry yeast
2 c. warm water
1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter-softened but not melted ( or shortening )
1 egg
2 teaspoons salt
2/3 c. nonfat dry milk ( instant )
5-5 1/2 cups bread flour, for best results (I use 5. It's not necessary to add the entire amount of flour. Judge by the stickiness of the dough, not by the amount you've added)

Easy French Loaves

Here's a delicious white bread that's perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside-just what a French Bread should be. If you're like me, you attribute bread with lots of sweat and labor. But not so in this case. This creation is ready in less than 2 hours, including raising times! Amazing!

2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
2 cups warm water ( 110 degrees to 115 degrees )
