I'm not going to hike up to my favorite hawk watching spot without bringing along some of my homemade beef jerky. And neither should you.

2 lbs top-round London broil
2/3 c soy sauce
2/3 c Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp liquid smoke
2 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp pineapple juice
For spicy version, simply replace 1 tsp liquid smoke with 1 Tbsp hot pepper flakes

Great recipes for all you deer hunters! I have made all these venison recipes many times. Jerky, salami, chili, and stew. You can really use any type of meat such as beef, pork, turkey, and more.

This easy Traeger smoked beef jerky is much more economical than store-bought jerky, and tastes much better too. This version packs some heat, so if you aren't into that make sure and omit the sriracha and rep pepper flakes!
