2 slices thick bread ( like Texas toast )
1/4 of an apple ( cored and sliced into 1/4 inch slices )
3 strips of thick-cut bacon
1 Tbsp brown sugar
3 Tbsp pecans ( crumbled into small pieces )
2 oz mascarpone ( or cream cheese )
1 large egg
1 Tbsp milk
