Delicious Homemade Cheese Pizza

Thinking of a delicious homemade cheese pizza recipe as an afternoon snack idea? Well, this homemade pizza is a perfect snack to make at home. There are so many recipes for creating the perfect pizza. But, this recipe is a treat for those who are cheese lovers.

You can add some fresh herbs to the pizza after it's cooked. Herbs such as thyme, oregano, and basil would be great here. You can also add some hot sauce to the tomato sauce mixture for a fiery kick.

If you like, you can use a flatbread dough for this recipe. You may check this Flatbread Pizza for the recipe. A yeastless pizza dough that can be prepared in advance. After it has risen, cover, and place in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Then let the dough sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before stretching out/shaping and topping.

You may also use aged Havarti, provolone, and pecorino romano cheeses for this recipe. Sometimes, the simpler you go, the better it gets.

8 oz canned tomato sauce
5 oz shredded parmesan cheese

Marinating the lamb helps in keeping it juicy while at the same time adding a lot of flavor. You can marinate the lamb shanks overnight. This will develop a more pronounced lamb flavor profile. Lamb shanks are pretty lean, but if you use a fattier cut of lamb, you may want to trim off some of the excess fat.
