A vegetarian soup recipe is all you need to warm your hearts. It makes a delicious dinner that can be prepared all-year-round. This vegetable soup is quite simple, easy, and scrumptious. It is made with tons of pickled vegetables. Chow chow is a delicious American pickled pepper relish. There are regional variations of this dish all across the United States, from north to south and from east to west.

10 oz cabbage
4 oz red bell peppers
1 oz red onions
6 cups vegetable broth
1 cup sour cream
4 cups white vinegar
2 tbsp cayenne pepper
4 tbsp salt for brine
½ cup butter
5 oz russet potatoes
Salt and pepper for taste
