1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla
splash of milk
4 tbsp butter
1/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk + 1 tbsp butter {or 1/2 cup whipping cream}

Melt 1 tbsp butter. Let cool and combine with milk. Set aside. {homemade whipping cream}
