Thick Focaccia Bread with Garlic and Cheese Dipping Oil

Yummy, delicious bread perfect with so many pastas!

Bread:
2 cups warm water (115-120 degrees)
1 tbsp active dry yeast
1 tbsp granulated sugar
5 1/2 cups all purpose flour, give or take a little
2 tsp salt
1/4-1/3 cup olive oil, divided
1 tsp oregano
1 1/2 tsp dried minced onion
1 1/2 garlic powder
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Dipping:
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
3 tbsp Parmesan cheese, finely grated
1 tbsp balsalmic vinegar
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In the bowl of your stand mixer dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let proof for 5-10 minutes. Line a large cooking with a silpain liner or lightly grease a 9x13 baking pan....

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
