So, I took five years of Spanish in middle school and high school and managed to get all "A"s in every class ... que bueno! Sadly, I didn't follow it up with any conversation classes (boo!) and I have been reduced to mainly disjointed phrases, a decent recollection of vocabulary and a passable ability to read some Spanish. But that doesn't stop me from giving a nod to five long years of Spanish classes every now and again.
