Tropical Monkey Bread

A classic monkey bread is given a tropical twist with coconut milk, pineapple, walnuts, and shredded coconut. And it is made completely from scratch!

2¼ tsp active dry yeast
¼ cup warm water (105-115F)
1¼ cup warm light coconut milk (105 -115F)
? cup unsalted butter, melted
¼ cup sugar, divided
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp salt
5½ cups all-purpose flour
2 (8oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
½ cup shredded sweetened coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
For the coating
¾ cup unsalted butter
¼ cup light coconut milk
1 cup sugar
¾ cup packed light brown sugar
¼ cup shredded sweetened coconut
