Turkey Vegetable Chili served in Sourdough Bowls is an easy, but festive dinner for a cold night when comfort food is just what you need!

6 small sourdough bread rounds
1 20 ounce package ground turkey
2 green bell peppers, seeded and chopped
1 large yellow onion, peeled and chopped
3 cloves of garlic, peeled and finely minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon ground allspice
8 ounces (about 2 whole) carrots, peeled and diced
2 15 ounce cans of dark red kidney beans
1 cup frozen corn
2 14.5 ounce cans diced fire roasted tomatoes
1 6 ounce can tomato paste
Shredded cheddar cheese, for garnish
Sour cream, for garnish
