This Vitamin C Boost Green Smoothie recipe rocks the house. Seriously- it’s awesome and a great way to start your morning or give you an added boost in the afternoon. - Jodi

1 cup soy milk
2 cups kale (frozen works great)
1 orange, peeled and halved
1 banana
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 tbsp flax meal
2 T agave nectar
2 cups ice
Blend ingredients in the order given until smooth. Serve immediately.

Marinated Taro Root

A marinated snack that can be used to replace late night bad habit cravings!

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
