Erin says, “This is a recipe my mom has always used. It was passed down from a family member I believe. This is the only brownie recipe I use. I feel like most people use a mix for their brownies are more cake like. This brownie recipe is so rich a little piece goes a long way. It is soooo easy to make with ingredients most people have in their pantry already. Whenever I make them for work functions or parties, people rave about them.”

3 oz unsweetened chocolate
1 stick butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 cup flour
pinch of salt
chopped walnuts (optional)
1 stick butter

Melt chocolate and butter over double broiler
Remove from heat and stir in sugar and eggs
Stir in flour and salt
Add nuts and mix until well combined.
Bake in a 9x9 or 8x8 pan at 350 degrees for 35 minutes...
