Winter Salad With Fruit and Lemon Poopy Seed Dressing

This is an amazing variation of the everyday salad. Easy to prepare and it will knock your socks off.

For Salad:
1 large head of Romaine lettuce, torn or cut into bite sized pieces
4 oz shredded Swiss or Provolone cheese
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1 apple, diced
1 red pear, diced
For Dressing:
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp spicy mustard
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup oil
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 large head of Romaine lettuce, torn or cut into bite sized pieces
4 oz shredded Swiss or Provolone cheese
1/4 cup dried cranberries

For Dressing:
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp spicy mustard
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup oil
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
In a blender, combine sugar, lemon juice, onion powder, mustard, and salt. Process until well blended. With machine running, slowly pour in the oil and continue blending until thickened and smooth. Add the poopy seeds and process long enough to just get the poppy seeds incorporated.
In a large serving bowl, combine all salad ingredients, toss to mix. Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat.
