Caramelized Pecan Brie

This is my new go-to for serving at (and taking to) parties. Requires about 5 simple ingredients and 5 minutes to make and is a definite crowd pleaser.

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 round brie cheese
