Cranberry Loaf

2 Cups Cranberries, coarsly chopped
2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Orange Juice
1 Egg, beaten
1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1/4 Cup Shortening
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Grated Orange Rind
A) In a large mixing bowl, sift together dry ingredients B) In a seperate bowl cut shortening well into small pieces, add juice rind, and egg, mix. C) Pour mixture into dry ingredients, mix, fold in cranberries. D) Pour into greased loaf pan, being sure to spread evenly from corner to corner. E) Bake at 350F for 1 hour, let cool completly before serving
