Tangy Salmon Piccata

This one is on the table from start to finish in 20 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights. I love these flavors. This salmon piccata cooks up in a snap too, which is great during the weeknight when you just want to sludge on the couch with a glass of wine and forget about your busy work day. I like how salmon and lemon just seem made for each other and this was melt in your mouth good.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped green onion
12oz salmon filet
salt & pepper to taste
5 tablespoons butter (divided)
3 cloves garlic (crushed)
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup chardonnay wine
1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
2-3 tablespoons capers
8oz angel hair pasta (cooked to package directions and 1/4 pasta water reserved)
parsley to taste
