1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup homemade applesauce
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt
3 apples, cored and cut into cubes (3 cups total)
1/4 cup icing sugar
