Basil pesto made with almonds, olive oil and Parmesan cheese.

2 cups packed fresh basil leaves
2 cloves garlic. chopped
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 to 2/3 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
