Every family has a staple pancake recipe. This one is ours. They come out light and fluffy every time and is a perfect recipe to customize. Here is our latest adaptation: Almond Poppy Seed Pancakes. The result? Pancakes so perfect and delicious that the kids were literally licking their plates.

2 large eggs
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 cup milk
2 cup all purpose or whole wheat flour
2 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. teaspoon salt
1 tsp. poppy seeds
3/4 tsp. almond extract
Vanilla Glaze
2 1/4 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
2 to 4 Tbsp. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 cup milk
2 cup all purpose or whole wheat flour
2 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. teaspoon salt
1 tsp. poppy seeds
3/4 tsp. almond extract
Vanilla Glaze
2 1/4 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
2 to 4 Tbsp. milk
