A soft sweet roll filled with almond paste and topped with an almond glaze. It's like an almond croissant in a sweet roll!

Dough:
2 1/4 teaspoons (or 1 package) active dry yeast
3/4 cup non-fat milk
1/3 cup + 1/2 teaspoon sugar, divided
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
3 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
Paddle attachment & dough hook for your mixer
Filling:
1-7 ounce tube of almond paste (a heaping packed 1/2 cup)
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
Glaze:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
1-2 tablespoons non-fat milk
