2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspooon salt
2/3 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup milk
6 apples, peeled and cored
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups water
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
