Apple Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread

Warm and delicious cinnamon bread stuffed with warm apples. Its fall in a bread pan.

For the dough:

8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter
? cup milk
½ teaspoon vanilla
8 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
½ cup warm water (about 110 to 115 degrees F)
4½ teaspoons (2 packets) Active Dry Yeast
5½ cups plus ¼ cup all-purpose flour, divided
1 tsp salt
4 eggs, lightly beaten

For the filling:

1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 large apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced

For the streusel topping:

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons old-fashioned rolled oats
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1½ tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into ¼-inch cubes
