bite-sized apple and oat no-bake cookies

4 TBS Butter
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 granny smith apple, shredded
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon brown sugar
1 1/2 cups quick oats
salt
Melt butter in large skillet Add sugar, apples, cinnamon, vanilla and brown sugar Bring to a simmer and add oats. Let simmer 1 minute Take off heat and spoon tablespoons of batter into balls and sprinkle with salt

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
