Apple Pie Stuffed Cheesecake

Can't decide between apple pie and cheesecake? Look no further! The creamy deliciousness of a beautifully baked cheesecake combined with a cinnamon and spice apple pie filling. The hardest part of this recipe is that you have to let it set for 24 hours in the fridge and trust me you will want to dig right in!

2 cups graham cracker or gingersnap crumbs

6 T & 1/4 C melted butter

24 ounces cream cheese (3 bricks) softened

1 C white sugar

2 whole eggs

1 egg yolk

1/2 C heavy cream (whipping cream)

2 T & 1/2 C flour

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 apples, peeled and sliced

1 T & 1/2 C brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg
