Artisan Bread

YOU can make Artisan bread in your kitchen....only 20-25 minutes to make and bake for 50 minutes and YUMMO Artisan Bread is on your talbe.

2 Tablespoons of sugar
2 Tablespoons of yeast
1 Tablespoon of salt
2 Cups of WARM Water
4-6 cups of all purpose flour (bread flour can be used)

You can add mix ins....say 1 Cup of cranberries, 1 cup of pecans or walnuts, 1 cup chocolate chips. This is your canvas....add away!
Measure yeast, sugar, salt in the bottom of stand mixer with dough hook (you can mix by hand if you don't have a stand mixer). Add 2 cups of very warm water. Let sit for several minutes til mixture looks foamy. Slowly add flour 1 cup at a time and start mixing. Add flour til the dough starts to pull away from bowl and forms a cohesive dough. At this point you can add in your mix ins. If using a stand mixer; let it knead for 4-5 minutes. Then shape into a loaf and place into the Pampered Chef Deep Covered Baker lines with parchment paper. Cover with lid and let sit for 15 minutes. Place in a cold oven and then turn onto 400 and bake for 50 minutes. DO NOT open the door or take off lid! Trust it is working!!! EJNOY!
