Asian Inspired Meatballs

A sweet and sour meatball with your choice of ground turkey, pork, or chicken.

Meatball ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey, or ground chicken, or ground pork
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Vegetables
1 clove of minced or pressed garlic
1 large green peeper seeded and diced
1 medium onion, cut into one in square
2 medium carrots, cut diagonally into 1/4 inch slices
1/2 cup canned pineapple
2 medium tomatoes, cut into one inch cubes
Sweet and sour sauce:
1 T cornstarch
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 t ground ginger
1 T soy sauce
1 T dry sherry (I use cooking sherry)
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 pound ground turkey, or ground chicken, or ground pork

Mix all the ingredients for the meatballs, fry in a few tablespoons of vegetable oil. Once the meatballs are cooked, remove from the pan and set aside.
