Bacon and Jalapeño Stuffed Butterhorn Rolls

These traditional, flaky, buttery rolls are taken up a flavor notch with salty bacon, warm jalapeños, and smooth cream cheese.

For Rolls:
1 tbsp. active dry yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. unsalted butter
1/4 c. coconut oil (or another 1/4 c. butter)
1/2 c. sucanat or sugar
2 tsp. real salt
4-1/2 c. spelt flour or all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c. unsalted butter, melted

For Filling:
1-1/2 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
2 jalapeños, chopped
12 oz. (or 1 lb.) bacon, cooked and crumbled
