This tart has a tender crust filled with sweet, smooth, and a little smoky caramel.

Crust:
10 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs, room temperature
2- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. sea salt
Caramel Filling:
4 slices of bacon
1 1/4 cup heavy cream, at room temperature
2 cup sugar
12 tbsp. unsalted butter, cubed
1/4 tsp. sea salt
