Baked Jalapeño Poppers

I got a bunch of fresh jalapeños from my husband's co-worker who had extra from her garden. I don't normally cook with jalapeños so I wasn't quite sure what to do with my unexpected treat. I took a quick look around in the fridge & decided to make some poppers out of them - all you need is cream cheese & bacon. Two things we always usually have in the fridge :)

20 fresh jalapeños
2 cubes cream cheese, softened
1 lb bacon
Wooden toothpicks (optional)

Cut jalapeños in half length wise. Stuff with softened cream cheese. Cut bacon strips into thirds & wrap individual sections around jalapeño. Place on a wire rack & put in the oven over a drip pan. Secure...
