Oh so sweet and delicious! My kids beg me to make this. So simple and easy to make!

1 large can pineapple (20 oz.), in heavy syrup
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 1/2 cup of water
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
Dash of salt
1 cup sugar

Put in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Mix together. Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Don't cover. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
