Banana Chocolate Chip Cake w/Cream Cheese Icing

A super moist cake that is rich and delicious. It is perfect as a dessert or a side for breakfast. The addition of the semi-sweet chocolate and cream cheese icing throws this cake over the top. It is out of this world good. You can cut the pieces small and make it go further or cut them bigger for a smaller crowd.

3-4 Bananas, mashed

1/2, Lemon, juice

3 Cups, All-Purpose Flour

1/2 Teaspoon, Salt

1 1/2 Teaspoons, Baking Soda

1 1/2 Sticks, Butter, unsalted & softened

2 Cups, Sugar

3 Eggs

2 Teaspoons, Pure Vanilla Extract

1 1/2 Cups, Buttermilk

2 Cups, Semi-Sweet, Chocolate Chips

Icing:

3 1/2 Cups, Confectioner’s Sugar

8 oz., Cream Cheese

1 Stick, Butter, softened

1 Teaspoon, Pure Vanilla Extract

2-3 Teaspoons, Cream or Milk **(I have French Vanilla Coffee Creamer on hand so that is what I used in this icing)
