Don’t feel like you have to sacrifice flavor for health! These easy muffins are full of healthy ingredients but are ooey, gooey chocolate goodness. Your taste buds and your midsection will thank you for making these. Full of heart healthy almonds, bananas, flax seed and whole wheat, these muffins taste as good as they are for you.

2-3 Bananas (softened)
1 cup almond slices (for tops)

1 egg
1/2 cup brown sugar (or honey)
1/2 cup milk (or soy milk)
3 tablespoons olive oil

dry

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cups all purpose flour
2 cups chocolate chips
2 cups finely chopped almonds
1/2 cup ground Flax Seed
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
