Banana Nut Cookies

Fluffy and light, these cookies taste just like banana bread but without the crumbs.

1 stick (½ cup) butter, mostly melted
¾ cup brown sugar
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon (I lean on the generous side)
½ tsp nutmeg
2 ¼ cups flour
1 ½ bananas, mushy or frozen (if frozen, microwave for 20-30 seconds)
1 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large bowl, cream together the sugars and butter.
Add the eggs, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Add the baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla....
