Basic Homemade Granola
A perfect simple granola base. Keep it plain or add your favourite mix-ins: dried fruits, pecans, sunflower seeds, chocolate chips, peanut butter...let your imagination go wild!

¼ cup honey
1 Tbsp brown sugar
½ Tbsp vanilla extract (or almond extract)
2 cups rolled oats (quick cooking oats also work – but do not use instant oats)
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
1 cup sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl, mixing well to evenly coat ingredients. Spread the mixture on a large sheet pan lined with parchment paper.
