Beef Stroganoff Sauce

Delicious sauce that can be served over egg noodles or mashed potatoes

1 lb. beef stew meat
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 cup chopped onion
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
14 oz. beef broth
8 oz. mushrooms, cleaned and cut up
salt and pepper
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1. Saute onions until softened. 2. Add in mushrooms and saute 2-3 minutes. Set aside. 3. Saute stew meat until browned. 4. Add broth, cream soup, worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to meat. Stir thoroughly. 5. Add in onions and mushrooms. 6. Let simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour. 7. Add in cream cheese and sour cream prior to serving. Stir thoroughly to mix. Allow to heat through.
