This is a really moist banana cake recipe. The secret to getting the cake moist is indicated in the method below. If you like banana cake like i do then this recipe is sure to please.

1 1/2 cups very ripe bananas, mashed
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
