If I’m calling these “best-ever,” you can bet your a** I mean it. You know how scones can sometimes be a little dense and dry? Yeah - these are NOTHING like that. They are pure, lemony perfection. And even better - they only take about 45 minutes from start to finish, so they’re perfect for a homemade weekend breakfast!

Ingredients:
1.5 cups flour
1/3 cup white sugar
3/4 tsp baking powder

3/4 tsp baking soda
dash of salt
3/4 stick of butter (6 tbsp), cut into pieces
1/4 cup milk

1.5 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
3/4 tsp white vinegar

For the icing:
1 cup powdered sugar

3 tbsp butter, melted
1.5 tbsp lemon juice
dash of vanilla
milk or half & half, as needed
