Yes, yes I know. It’s that time of year again when you make resolutions to be healthier, skinnier, blah blah blah. I’m gonna resolve to make more biscuits and gravy, so there. I love comfort food, and nothing says comfort food more than homemade biscuits and gravy. I always pictured it being much more work than it actually is, especially if you cheat and use frozen biscuits. But if you don’t want to do that than the biscuits are still pretty easy to make from scratch.

For Biscuits:
3 C all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 C butter
1 C milk
Gravy
1 lb. ground pork sausage
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 C milk
salt and pepper to taste
