I made these for my younger sister for her birthday. Well, her birthday is actually not until next week but I will be out of town. She loved them!

1 box yellow cake mix prepared as directed on box
1 box (3.4 ounce) vanilla instant pudding
1 cup cold milk
2 cups cool whip or other whipped topping thawed
3/4 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare cake batter and bake as directed on package for 24 cupcakes. Cool cupcakes completely.
