This was always one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast as a kid! I loved waking up to the smell of fresh Breakfast Cake. Your kids will love it too!

• 2 cup flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 3 tablespoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ? cup butter softened
• 1 egg
• ½ cup milk

Crunchy Topping:
Mix with fork 2 TBSP soft butter, ½ cup brown sugar, 2 tsp. cinnamon, ½ cup coconut or chopped nuts.
Put all dry ingredients in a bowl. Then add remaining ingredients. Beat hard for 2 minutes. Pour into greased 9" square pan. Cover with crunchy topping. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350. Add crunchy Topping. Serve warm.
