Buttermilk Cakes

Moist buttermilk cakes with a hint of almond flavor. These cakes are best served warm with sweetened whipped cream and berries.

3/4 c. all-purpose flour, sifted

1 ½ tsp. baking powder

2 large eggs

3/4 c. low-fat buttermilk

1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1/4 tsp. almond extract

1/3 c. granulated sugar

4 T. butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
