Cacao Porridge

Porridge is a perfect, healthy way to start the day and an absolute classic British breakfast. It’s my go-to breakfast for cold mornings (which is pretty much everyday in England). I’ve made this one using my slow cooker as I find it’s easier to prepare it the night before so I have more time in the mornings and I prefer the taste as it becomes super creamy. If you don’t have a slow cooker though and want to try it for yourself you can simply soak your oats in milk overnight in the fridge then

1 cup/80g steel–cut oats
4 cups/960ml almond milk
2 tbsp. honey
1-2 tbsp. cacao
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp. cinnamon

Optional toppings: pomegranate, dried mango, coconut flakes, chia seeds.

Cucumber Juice Recipe For Weight Loss

cups 6 Water
2 Cucumbers
1 lemon juice and zest
2 tablespoons fresh mint

Peel the cucumbers and chop them into large pieces. Put these cucumbers, lemon juice, lemon zest, and mint in a blender. Blend for about 3 minutes or until the juice is smooth.
