The recipe starts with their Basic Roll Dough recipe.
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup milk, scalded
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 egg
Roll Filling
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Caramel Sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup milk, scalded
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 egg
Roll Filling
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Caramel Sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tablespoon light corn syrup
In saucepan mix 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter or margarine, and 1 tablespoon light corn syrup.
Heat slowly, stirring often. You do not need to bring it to a boil just heat it until it is all melted...
