A meaty delicacy of Peshawar, Pakistan. Meat patties filled with flavors.

Ingredients:

2 lb. ground turkey (finely minced) you can use beef, chicken lamb, goat

1 - 2 tsp. Salt (or to taste)

2 - 3 tsp. red Chilli Powder (cayenne)

½ tsp. Black Pepper powder

1 tsp. coriander powder

3 tsp ginger garlic paste

2 tsp. dry coriander (lightly roasted and coarsely ground)

2 tsp. Cumin Seeds (roasted and coarsely ground)

4 small green Chillies (finely chopped)

1 big onion (finely chopped - squeeze out excess water)

1 egg

Oil for frying

Marinated Taro Root

8 small taro roots
water
salt
1 cup yogurt, mixed with enough water to submerge roots (add salt)

  1. Wash the taro roots well.
  2. Slightly cut a slit into each root, but not big enough to split the root into two pieces. This will allow the water and marinade to go into the taro root
