Cheddar & Chive Savory Waffles

These healthy waffles are super cheesy, make a great make-ahead breakfast or snack and are 21 Day Fix approved! They also make a delicious base for some sausage gravy or even a breakfast sandwich!

1 egg, white separated from yolk
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup unsweetened plain almond milk
2 Tbs plain greek yogurt, 1% or fat-free
1/2 Tbs olive oil or melted coconut oil
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 Tbs baking powder
1 Tbs chopped chives
2/3 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
