A rich homemade cherry cake sure to be cherished by all who indulge

½ lb butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
½ cup warm milk
Grated rind of 1 lemon
¾ cup corn flour
¾ cup potato flour
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
¾ cup cherries
