A light vanilla lemon cake filled with a vanilla lemon cream cheese and cherry filling and topped with a crunchy sugary almond vanilla infused topping.

1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Sliced Almonds
18 Tablespoons Butter, Cold
1 1/4 Granulated Sugar
2 teaspoons Lemon Zest
4 whole Eggs
1 tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract
1 1/4 teaspoons Baking Soda
1 1/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
2 1/4 cups All-Purpous Flour or Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
1 1/3 cup Sour Cream
8 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3 teaspoons Fresh Lemon juice
2 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
1 cup Cherry Pie Filling
