This is a delicious variation on an old standard. A little bit of chocolate brightens up this recipe, and makes it a sweet treat!

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking POWDER
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. baking SODA
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. margarine
2 eggs
1 c. canned pumpkin
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (if desired)
