Chocolate Cookie Dough Cupcakes

Decadent chocolate cake topped with a cookie dough icing that is to die for! Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips & a mini chocolate chip cookie & dig in!

Cupcake:
1 box devil's food cake mix
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon (optional)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup oil
3 eggs
3/4 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon vanilla

Cookie Dough Frosting:
3/4 cup butter, softened
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
2-3 cups powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin pans with cupcake liners. Combine all cupcake ingredients & beat for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Fill cupcake liners 3/4 the way full, a large cookie scoop works...
