Chocolate Peanut Butter Poke Cake

This was absolutely wonderful!! And easy!

1 chocolate cake mix

For the pudding:
1 cup milk
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
4 tablespoons cornstarch
2 egg yolk
2 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

For the topping:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 /2 cup chocolate chips or grated chocolate for garnish
Heat the oven to 350 F and spray an 9x13 inch cake pan with non-stick cooking spray. Make cake mix according to directions on box About 12 minutes before cake is done, cook pudding on medium heat until it starts to thicken and boil. When cake comes out of the oven, poke holes radomly on top. I used the end of a wooden spoon. Pour hot pudding on hot cake....gently bang cake pan on counter so the pudding seeps in the holes. Let cool for at least 3 hours. Prepare topping, spread evenly on cake. I garnished with chocolate chips....peanut butter chocolate chips would probably be really good. Cake was so moist and yummy! Praised my all! Enjoy!
